Northshore Middle School Music Boosters is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that works to support all the music programs at Northshore Middle School. NMS Music Boosters is supported by a committee of volunteers (usually parents of music students). This year several board members are rolling off and we have multiple positions we have to fill. The music boosters meet 3-4 times a year and work closely with the music teachers to provide uniforms, support on festival days, provide music materials, help provide instruments/repairs, and the very important work of fundraising.
As a family member of a music student you are automatically considered part of the NMS Music Boosters! Would you like to get more involved as a board member? NMS Music Boosters is required by Washington State to fill the following executive board positions for the coming year:
President – main role is to plan meetings and help activities as needed.
Secretary – keep records of meetings and distribute to membership.

Northshore Middle School Music Boosters is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to support and promote excellence in the NMS music program, which includes band, orchestra, and choir. Our purpose is to raise supplemental funds and provide volunteer and administrative support, as needed, for the program and directors.
Music Boosters supports the NMS music program, in cooperation with the directors, by:
Raising supplemental funds to:
Purchase items for the program that are beyond the “baseline” curriculum
Supplement the cost of and maintain uniforms
Providing support/assistance with uniform fittings and collecting student payments
Providing support in chaperoning activities, if needed
To maintain our non-profit status, the NMS Music Boosters is led by a board of directors which, at a minimum, includes a President, Secretary, and Treasurer. Meetings are on the third Thursday of each month and are open to all music booster members.
